**Coronavirus Update**
Flames Netball Club are fully supporting and abiding by the decisions announced by the Government and England Netball. The committee has been monitoring how Covid continues to impact our chances of returning to netball. No doubt you have also been checking the situation and have received regular updates from England Netball.
We understand that ADNL are looking at how and when the league may start up, most likely with friendly games. However, in light of the recent move to tier 4/5 restrictions, all senior netball is currently paused again and so it is even more uncertain as to when competitive netball will resume. We will of course keep you updated as we hear anymore regarding the league restarting.
Whilst some teams have managed to train together outside, the logistics of training for our club numbers, the restrictions in place and the risk to our members and coaches has not permitted us to do so.
England Netball requires Clubs to have a Covid officer in place and Karen Cheek/Gilly Bettis have volunteered for this role, and they can be contacted on [email protected]. This position requires a lot of work and responsibility to keep the members safe and to put procedures in place for the Club.
We appreciate that you may be missing netball, however the Clubs priority is to keep its members safe. We all dearly hope that we can return to netball soon just like the good old days.
